Friday, April 11
Welp, as of tonight we'll have a new addition to the family. We are adopting a 3 year old dog, he's a pitbull mix. SO damn cute. He is black and white, kinda looks like "petey" from the Little Rascals.
A while back I wrote about a friend of ours that's all fucked up on Drugs. This dog that we are adopting, was his dog. I say was because he decided the other night that taking him to the pound to die was better than finding him a home. He just couldn't take care of him anymore, let alone himself. We've tried to help him with money, food, a place to stay, but the drugs were always more important. He lost his job, his van, now god only knows where he's sleeping at night. The dog and him used to kick it in the van together. I kept hearing these horrible stories, that he didn't have money to feed the dog, so when he went "dumpster diving" for himself, he would toss the dog in the dumpster and let him eat too. I mean DAMN, com'on now. Just couldn't take it anymore. I hate hearing stories like that. We were buying huge bags of food for him, so he was at least eating a little better. But after hearing that his days were numbered literally....I said OK that's it, he's coming home with us. We have a huge yard, and he'll be happy. My old doggy will love the company too. My cat on the other hand is gonna be hella pissed. But....she'll get over it. Once she stands her ground, and lets the new guy know she's the boss, it'll be all good.
Some mutual friends of ours went and rescued the dog from the pound, and got him his shots, and gave him a bath. I can't WAIT to see him. I totally think him and I will be very close. He already makes me smile, and he isn't even home yet. Poor guy...he's been through a lot. But now, it's time for a good life, and good times. I'll take some pics of him this weekend, and post them up so you can meet him!!!

Love this picture, it's by Todd Schorr. It's called "The Tattoo Delirium".
The ole dog is doing better. Which makes me feel better. With the warmer weather he'll start to loosen up, and not be as stiff in his back legs. Dang this sucks. In all of my 31 years, I have never had to put a pet down. They have either ran away, or my dad didn't like it, so he gave whatever it was away. Fucker. We were talking about having our dog cremated, so he can be with us always. We don't own our home yet, so if we buried him, and we moved, we'd leave him behind. And we ain't going there.
In other news....the hubby bought a project car. Wasn't the 50 merc that I was hoping for...but none the less this one is pretty cool too. It's a 1960 El Camino. They quit making them after 1960' then started back up in 64', and then they looked totally different. This one looks like a Impala. It doesn't have a engine or tranny, but damn it's neato to look at. It has all the glass, and moldings. Body is straight. Yeah....I hope he sticks with it, it'll sure be a cool car. The guy is delivering it tonight.
Watched Monster Garage last night. It was the Suburban turned into a wedding chapel!! haha...DAMN we coulda got married by Jesse James!!! Darn darn darn. Day late and a dollar short. Story of my life. This next episode is gonna be soooo cool. Tony Hawk is gonna be on the show. They are going to turn a bus I think, (might be a big rig truck) into a indoor skating ramp!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FUCK YEAH!!! I love that shit man. Gotta pin a note to my shirt so I don't forget to watch that one!!
Is it Friday yet?? I know I know...just checking. Gotta be Friday somewhere.....
