Groovy M&M's.....

I fell for it. Had a major sweet tooth in the check out line at the grocery store. I looked over saw "Groovy Colored M&M's". Well I'm a sucker, I will fall for that crap every time. Get a bag for yourself, check them out. My lord. They are nothing but M&M's rolled in pieces of other M&M's. I was thinking the color of the outter shell would be swirled like it shows on the bag. HA! No sirreeBOB. I mean great concept. I fell for it. Spent almost a buck on a king sized bag. Oh well, they taste the same!! Just think swirling the colored would have been way cooler!!!

We've been trying a new experiment with the dogs lately. We've been leaving the back door slightly open so they could come in the house if they wanted. Why? Cuz....I dunno, just so they could be comfy during the day I suppose. HA! Yeah...ok so they are spoiled. It's cool...they deserve it. Besides we don't have kids to spoil, so. Mostly I wanted to see if it would stop the new guy from digging in the yard. He isn't totally tearing things up, just trying to dig the curly willow tree from the front lawn!!! No biggie. No really....it's not all that bad. I think Pit Bulls do well indoors anyway. Everyone I've ever known has lived inside for most of it's life. Anyway, the experiment is working. I came home today both those dogs were chilling on the living room floor. Nothing was touched, broken, peed on, pooped in or on...nothing. So proud of them. They are getting along really well too.

I sorta worry about the little guy. I think he was weaned from his momma too soon. He's about 3 years old, and still suckles. His favorite is a old towel or blankie. He'll get all into it, kinda go to a "happy place", just sucking away I just let him be, I mean damn, we could all use a happy place right? haha... It's cute, but then it's kinda sad too. I've been looking online trying to find info about it. I mean is it bad for him? Good? Should I not let him do that? I dunno, for now he's happy and I'm gonna let it be. Poor dog has issues. He was born, taken to the pound shortly there after, rescued, lived in a van for 3 years, became homeless with his owner, eating out of garbage dumpsters....etc. To living in a real house, eating real dog food, and sleeping with me under the covers!!! And he's only had this new life for a little over a month. I'm just not ready to take things away from him. Don't get me wrong he's getting good discipline but.....I love spoiling him. He's a great dog, and he makes me totally happy. I look forward to coming home to them both everyday!! The old dog is getting really old, and his back legs probably won't last threw this winter. Isn't it sorta cool how we got the pup just in time for the old guy to show him the ropes before he leaves us? I think it's kinda cool when you look at it like that.

Nothing new going on...same ole shiznit. Had a great weekend though. Finally had one of our weekends like we used to have all the time. Hung out in Monterey, they were having a festival of some kind. Got me some kettle corn, went home happy. The weather was awesome, so we just lazed around. Did some yard work last night.

This Saturday were going to a car show in Pleasanton, then Sunday we have to go to our nieces' and nephew's birthday party in Fresno a.k.a. HELL. So funny, those kids are 7 years apart, but were born on the very same day!!! Oh and by different fathers!!! How weird is that? I just totally dread going to Fresno. Hate that place. So damn glad we moved. We haven't lived there in 6-7 years. Just a ugly town. At least for us. We had too many friends die from drugs, or just shot for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Even had friends parents killed. We lived in a shitty house, in a shitty gangland neighborhood. I usually catch myself once or twice a week saying "THANK GOD" we don't live in Fresno anymore. Just gotta go visit once in a while. Yuck. If it wasn't for family that town wouldn't exist as far as I'm concerned. It's ok though really, cuz once we get back home from a "hell" visit, it just makes me love where I live that much more!!!
