I hadn't watched Monster Garage for a few weeks, until last night. OH MY. It was my dream episode. Well next to the mobile skate park they built. Last night Jesse's crew turned a Hot Dog Stand into a Top Fuel Dragster!! Oh yes, a dragster!!! It totally rocked. It was a Hot Dog Stand in the back and the rest a 1968 Top Fuel Dragster, Jesse had a old frame hanging down at the W.C.C. Shop.

It came out sweet. Jesse lost, but he ran a 11.9 or something at 135 mph!! Man just hearing that engine start up for the first time, after they got it all put together, made my heart pound. I just can't explain how much I love that shit. Racing, cars, hot rods....all of it!! We had a blast at the car show in Pleasanton on Saturday. I couldn't believe how many fixed up shiny cars there were. But not only that, there were people selling old stuff. Like used parts and whatnot. Which gave me a HUGE idea. And I'm totally stoked. We just bought a 1960 El Camino, which has all the original trim. However, most of it is bent, or in need of some love to make it all purdy again. So....this is what I'm gonna do. I already ordered myself a book called "How to restore metal auto trim". I'm gonna start taggin' along to the swap meets, and junk yards, get me a collection of old classic car emblems, hub caps, trim....etc. Once I get a good selling collection going, I can get me a spot at the car show in Pleasanton or where ever, and sell my goods, and have a blast!!! I could also sell the stuff over Ebay too. Either way I'm totally excited. Can't wait for the book, cuz I have a HUGE project outside waiting for me!!!
